Dual Credit English

In partnership with Northeast Lakeview College, Dual Credit English III and IV offers students the opportunity to earn a combined 12 hours of college credit. 

 

Dual Credit English III is broken into 2 semester long courses, ENG 1301 in the fall and ENG 1302 in the spring. Through this course sequence, students learn the fundamentals of rhetorical analysis, argument, and research, as well as study American Literature. 

 

Dual Credit English IV is also broken into 2 semester long courses, ENG 2322 in the fall and ENG 2323 in the spring. These courses are surveys of British Literature. ENG 2322 starts with early Anglo-Saxon works and works through Shakespeare. ENG 2323 starts with the Romantics and works through contemporary British Literature.
